ABOUT

Lisa Marie David is a Filipina freelance visual journalist with an interest in documenting women, children, culture, and environment.  She is a regular contributor to Reuters and Bloomberg and had her work published on CNN, Libération, among others.

Lisa  has also worked with non-profit organizations including the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the Finnish Red Cross, Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as a photo consultant. 

​In 2021, Lisa completed her post-graduate Diploma in Visual Journalism at the Asian Center for Journalism in Ateneo de Manila University with the support of the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung Media Programme Asia. She holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Santo Tomas.

At present, she is working simultaneously between assignments and documentary work. She is a member of Women Photograph and Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines (FOCAP).
