ABOUT
Lisa Marie David is a Filipina freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer with an interest in documenting issues concerning women, children, culture, and the environment. She is a regular contributor to Reuters and Bloomberg and had her work published on CNN, Libération, among others.
In 2021, she completed her post-graduate Diploma in Visual Journalism at the Asian Center for Journalism in Ateneo de Manila University with the support of the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung Media Programme Asia. She holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Santo Tomas and is an alumna of the Angkor Photo Festival Workshop.
At present, she is working simultaneously between assignments and documentary work. She is a member of Women Photograph and Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines (FOCAP).
